Enter Direct Match when ready and meet one compatible adult in a guided video introduction lasting approximately two minutes.

Choose the next step after the introduction. Messaging becomes available only when both decisions are compatible.
Before Direct Match
Readiness is part of the product, not an afterthought.
A useful introduction depends on more than two available cameras. Novia checks account eligibility, current dating intent, compatible preferences, profile readiness, location trust, and other safety or participation requirements before matching.
Members choose when to enter the live experience. Joining the waitlist or creating an account does not automatically place someone into a conversation.

During and after
A small interaction with a defined outcome.
Both adults enter at the same time. A timer provides a shared boundary, and an optional prompt can help the conversation begin naturally. Safety controls remain available throughout the live session.
When time ends, each person responds privately. A compatible mutual outcome can open messaging and future planning. Otherwise, the session closes without exposing either person’s individual choice.
